June 9th - June 15th: See how Michael Jackson, Santana, Fountains of Wayne, Lil Wayne, and Jay Z marked this week in history for pop music from the past 30 years.

June 14, 1995 - Michael Jackson

It was this week in 1995 that the infamous Diane Sawyer Primetime interview with Michael Jackson and new wife Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley, aired on ABC.  The interview touched on child molestation allegations, marriage and Michael's complexion.

June 15, 1999 - Santana

The classic rock guitarist, who played Woodstock 30 years prior, releases Supernatural featuring the song with Matchbox 20 singer Rob Thomas.  The song was #1 for 12 straight weeks and on the Billboard's Hot 100 for 56 weeks.

June 10, 2003 - Fountains of Wayne

The band that was on hiatus for 4 years release their new album called Welcome Interstate Manager and the world becomes very familiar with Stacy's Mom.  Stacy's everywhere are now and forever asked if there mom has it going on.

June 10, 2008 - Lil Wayne

The rap star releases his album Tha Carter III which includes Lil Wayne's most successful single in his career, so far, 'Lollipop'.  Maybe we'll hear it at the Bangor Waterfront this summer when he and Blink 182 come by the area.

June 15, 2017 - Jay Z

Jay Z is inducted into the Songwriter Hall of Fame.  He didn't show up for the induction.  But Obama did in video form and showed Jay Z some love.
