Restoration Details: | Restoration efforts continued through the night Christmas night and steady progress was made with the help of additional crews from several external utilities. Very cold temperatures yesterday prevented the ice from melting and added to the challenges the crews were facing. Today, snow is forecast and could cause challenges with travel and additional weight on power lines and tree limbs.Again, the public is reminded that fallen power lines aren't safe to come in contact with or even drive over. Please also avoid using generators inside or too close to your home. Be sure they are outside an adaquate distance from your home. | |
