Check out this fun event being put on by the Bangor Public Library this Saturday, March 14th that's all about telling your story.

It's only appropriate that you start your own story at a place full of them!  The Bangor Public Library is putting on an Art Journaling Workshop where you can start the process of creating your own journal that's beyond written words.

What is art journaling?  It's a way of documenting your experiences, thoughts and feelings with more than just words.  You can use pictures and art with all kinds of different artistic mediums.

The big focus of the workshop is focusing on the skills of self care but also embrace the creativity that you have.  And, remember, it's art!  So, anything goes and everything is what you want it to be.

Seats are limited so contact the library at 207-947-8336 ext. 125 to reserve a seat and all materials will be supplied so just bring your own stories and creativity.

This project is being funded in part by the Maine Bicentennial Committee and more information can be found at https://www.maine200.org/calendar/event/198
