The Hermon Fire Department have been documenting on Facebook their participation in the 'Wreaths Across America' send off this year.

According to the videos on Facebook there is a meeting for the convey to meet at the Maine Coast Mall in Ellsworth.  From there, they head down to Arlington, Virginia in a trek to honor America's fallen military men and women.

Check out this great drone footage of the start of the send off:

They even included a few videos shot from inside the fire engines:

The program is to honor the Veterans who have sacrificed their lives for America and laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery in Viriginia.  The organization sends tens of 18-wheelers filled with wreaths down to the national cemetery to lay donated wreaths at the headstones of the fallen.
