A little background, the goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters. This will help assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.  U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program collects new unwrapped toys and distributes them in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

With that said, you can donate new unwrapped toys to Toys for Tots this Saturday, the 5th, at a drive through event being held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Select Embroidery, 114 Enfield Road in Lincoln.  The toys will be distributed to families in need in Greater Lincoln and Millinocket.

Tough year is an understatement, but here’s a way to help those kids who are even more confused than we are.
