Pentatonix Covers Gaga’s Hit, Shallow. Internet Reacts.

A cappella super-group Pentatonix released this week their new video for their cover of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's award-winning smash 'Shallow'. The song, which was written for the remake of 'A Star Is Born' quickly rose to the charts, soon after it was released in 2018. It has since become one of the most awarded songs in history! So its really little wonder that Pentatonix should want to take it on.

According to an article by Billboard.com, the group just kicked off a summer world-tour and released on their Twitter account that they've enjoyed performing this cover so much, that they wanted to put out a video for it. They teamed up with director, Brian Petchers and came up with this dramatic black-and-white with gold accent themed offering.

It didn't take YouTubers long to post reactions to the cover, most of which were extremely positive in wonderfully hilarious ways! (Posted some of my favorites below.) As of this post, there's no reaction yet out of Gaga's camp as to whether or not she likes the cover, but if the internet's reaction is any indication, I'm guessing she'll be a fan, too.
