...The port-a-potty that is....

As Darling's Waterfront Pavilion is about to kick off it's tenth season, they've made a couple really sweet upgrades this year. For one thing, they've added a ton of new seating for folks with disabilities, that is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. A certain amount of seating has to be provided by law, but this addition will exceed the minimum standard.

But equally awesome news, is that they are finally beginning the process of getting rid of all the port-a-potties. By July, when Florida Georgia Line comes to town, 40 of the 80 bathrooms will be installed, with the other 40 to follow by the end of August, according to the BDN.

It probably won't do much about the lines that occasionally form at the johns, But at least it will be easier to keep them clean, and will probably smell a thousand-fold better than your average travel commode. The real test will be whether or not it improves the aim of half the folks that use them.

All we can do is cross our fingers....and lift the seat.
