News Center Maine ‘Coats And Toys For Kids’ Event This Saturday

Tis the season for giving and helping a great cause!

Help News Center Maine collect coats and toys during their 36th annual "Coats and Toys for Kids campaign"

Each year, several Hannaford, Shaw's locations host drop-off spots for donations. Gently used coats and new, unwrapped toys are left in giant boxes provided by Pepsi.

The coats are then brought to be cleaned, stored, then distributed by the Salvation Army along with the toys.

Coats will be accepted Thursday, November 22 through Monday, December 31. Toys will be accepted from Thursday, November 22 through Saturday, December 15th!

This Saturday, News Center will broadcast live from locations throughout the state, including the Shaw's location in Bangor, the Hannaford locations in Newport, Waterville, and Augusta.
