Some new, new for you!

Maine rap artist, Spose is back with a new album Friday (July 10). The album is titled 'Why Am I So Happy?'

Spose took to Facebook to announce what he says is 'maybe the most ambitious and unique album of [his] career.'

The hip-hopper says he's been working on the album steadily since all of the recorded material for the album was stolen while on tour. Last fall, while at Pappy’s Smokehouse in St. Louis the tour van was robbed in broad daylight. It took less than 30 minutes for the thieves to make off with cameras, musical equipment, iPads, phones and other personal items.

The first taste of what to expect on the album came in the form of 'Alternative Radio.' The tune features Kevin Kennie of Headstart, Walt Craven of 6Gig/Lost on Liftoffalong with other local musicians.

The album will be available on iTunes, Spotify and in physical form.
