Maine Grocer Gives Ultimate Dad ‘Snack Pack’ For Father’s Day

Father's Day is a day we appreciate dads of all kinds: the hardworking mogul, the laid back coach potato, the adventure-seeking outdoorsman. No matter what kind of dad is appreciated one thing that they all have in common is their appreciation for good food.

So, what better way to show your appreciation for Father's Day, or anytime you want to show appreciation for dad, than to give him a nice meal package that covers the basics.

Over the weekend, we celebrated dads. But one Maine store in Holden got to the core of what dad's really want: a simple steak dinner and a few cold ones.

Last week, G&M Family Market shared a special 'snack pack' they put together with dad in mind on Facebook on Friday.

The 'Father's Day Lunchable', as the store dubbed it, consisted of meat, a big potato and two cans of beer.

The post shows a few of the 'lunchables' that were available, each consisting of a 12 ounce strip of steak, a large potato and two 12-ounce cans beer all shrink wrapped together for an easy guarantee for a great Father's Day present.

You know dad would prefer to grill his own steak so, this is the perfect combination of the necessities he needs for a great meal and a task that he would love to take on because he gets to use the grill.

G&M Family Market is Shurfine Supermarket, located on Main Road in Holden, where you can pick up some groceries, meats, deli stuff, seafood and fresh vegetables. The store even houses a Dunkin and Amatos restaurant, as well. It's a good stop to fill up to and from Mount Desert Island or to and from Eastern points of Maine.
