If You Missed Kid, Sarah & Todd On Election ‘Snow Day’

The Z Morning Show with Kid & Sarah gets you up and moving, weekdays from 6-9!

On this snowy Election Day, Todd reminded us that in 2014, there were 10 inches of snow on the ground here in the Bangor area, after a big storm just days before we went to the polls.

Also, today is National Sandwich Day, when pressed to name his favorite local one, Todd came up empty, to which I of course brought up the “Kid Kelly” named after me, which you can find at the Corner Store Deli on Hammond Street in Bangor. It’s a turkey melt with Russian dressing, and if I do say so myself, it’s frickin’ delicious. Although that having been said, maybe anything Russian should wait till after Election Day.

As usual, we had some Weird News stories to share with you all this morning!

“YOU’RE BALD”-A 27-year old woman who had an arranged marriage in India, got a surprise when she found out her husband had been wearing a toupee, and was in fact, bald. She didn’t know this beforehand, and she now has filed a breach of trust against him.

For some reason, this reminded us of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine was no fan of the rug that George was wearing.

“Whoa Trigger!”-A horse that fell into a septic tank had to be rescued by firefighters after it was almost submerged in sewage. Ewwwwwwwww. “Buddy Bear” was rescued and is doing just fine.

“Sharing Is Caring”-A promise is a promise. A woman from Australia who made a pact many years ago to share any lottery winnings with her sister, kept her word when she won $1.4 million in the “Saturday Gold Lotto Million Superdraw” This lead to a discussion about what the three of us would do in the same scenario. As expected, Todd decided that he would hoard all the winnings for himself.
