It's gonna be a long summer in Bangor...

One of the biggest things that I’ve been missing the last 9 or so weeks without a doubt has been sports. Think about it, right now we would be in the thick of the NHL and NBA Playoffs. The Bruins& Celtics would both hopefully be making deep post season runs, and even though they maybe wouldn’t have the most promising year, there is nothing like Red Sox baseball. The good news is that there is a chance our beloved Boston teams will still compete very soon. The difference is that more than likely it will be to empty arenas, and stadiums.

Just about every year in recent memory, I have gone to at least one Celtics game, and one Red Sox game. As much as I love being a Mainer, getting outta dodge once in awhile is something I really look forward to. The atmosphere and energy around TD Garden is amazing, and if you have never been to Sully’s Tap, right across from TD, you are missing out on a legit iconic experience. I like to pretend I’m in the movie ”Good Will Hunting”, just waiting to have a couple cold ones with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Landsdowne Street is the place to be before any Sox game. I never miss a chance to hang at the Cask N’ Flagon, or Bleacher Bar, which is about as close as you can to being on the warning track at Fenway. Let's not forget Jersey Way, where the people watching is incredible.

Like everyone else, I’m waiting for the day when we can attend events like these again. So, if I'm stuck in Bangor for the time being, I can always look at my photos of the amazing trips I’ve had to "Title Town"
