Come help a local Girl Scout Troop help warm friends and neighbors in our community with 'Hero's Weekend' this weekend!

Corinna Girl Scout Troop 1299 is sponsoring a 'Stuff the Emergency Response Vehicles" event.  The event will be taking place this Saturday, November 9th from 8 AM to 4 PM at the Corinth AE Robinson Convenience Store on Newport Road.

The troop is looking to collect clothing to keep people warm, specifically hats, gloves, mittens, jackets, socks, boots, scarves and blankets.  Their goal is to fill the emergency response vehicles onsite at the event.

The troop is asking for you to please donate new or gently used items.  These items will be collected to be distributed to people in the community in need of some warm clothes for the chilly temperatures this winter.

For more information and to stay updated on this, please visit the 'Hero's Weekend' Facebook event page.
