With temperatures predicted to reach the 80's tomorrow, Bangor has a shot at beating our record high temp of 87 degrees. That balmy May 18th was 81 years ago in 1936, according to the National Weather Service in Caribou.
They say the average date for the first 80 degree day in Maine is May 23.
