On the go and need a hot cup of joe? It could be headed our way!

With all due respect to Dunkin, Starbucks and Tim Horton's, it is always cool when there is a new option for coffee, and it is even better when the company is headquartered right here in the state of Maine.

Coming up on Tuesday, August 6th, the The City of Bangor planning board will take a look at a proposal for a Aroma Joe's location, with a drive-thru, near Sam's Club, at the corner of Haskell and Hogan road, right next to Swett's Tire and Auto in Bangor.

Fingers are crossed, because if approved, work could begin on the property late this year, with a target date of 2025, to open their doors,

Their menu breaks down into several fun categories, like Expressin', Brewin', Energizin', Chillin', Freezin', Kiddin', Breakfastin', and Munchin' which of course is a variety of coffees, energy drinks, donuts and sandwiches, including a spicy chorizo gouda flatbread made with egg, that sounds simply fantastic.

Aroma Joe's Coffee uses Rainforest Alliance Certified beans, to ensure sustainable farming practices.

Other than Orono, there is no shortage of locations in the state of Maine. Hopeuflly, that is all about to change, with a brand new Bangor spot!
