Grab the kids and take an amazing scavenger hunt throughout Downtown Bangor!

Through the month of July a local book store, The Briar Patch, has hidden small 'Waldos' throughout 25 participating stores in the downtown Bangor area waiting to be found!

Where’s Waldo? In Downtown Bangor, of course! The iconic children’s book character in the red-and-white-striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting twenty-five local businesses this July. Find Waldo Local is a great summer vacation activity and a perfect way to support local businesses.

To participate, pick up a "Find Waldo Local in Downtown Bangor" stamp card at any of the participating locations and every time you find a 'Waldo' report it to the business, and get your card stamped.

"Find Waldo", is a fun, easy way to get exposed to all the local downtown shops have to offer as you will most likely venture in shops you've never been in before.

To make things a little more challenging, at The Briar Patch, host of Final Waldo spot in Downtown Bangor, you’ll have to find both Waldo AND his glasses.

All you have to do is collect store stamps or signatures at twenty or more businesses, which will enter you into a grand-prize drawing for Waldo books and paraphernalia.

There is no charge to participate, and the hunt lasts for therest of July.
