Bangor City Officials are showing some class by responding to an act of vandalism with an encouragement of kindness.

What started as a verbal argument on Wednesday evening in Downtown Bangor turned violent, authorities say, when one person shot another with a firearm.

While these spots may not have the option to drive through, they have great character, yummy locally made treats, and some very delicious coffee.

According to Sgt. Jason McAmbley, Public Information Officer for the Bangor Police Department, it all started when the man ran through a stop sign Sunday morning.

Management shared that some major improvements have been made to the building, possibly to help sweeten the pot for anyone who might be interested in putting something new in there.

Gallagher, who also owns Bangin’ Whoopie, is currently working to clear the debris and come up with a plan to reopen.

It will be strange not to see its uniquely decorated windows when driving along the main drag in Bangor.
