Bake Sale/Auction to Fundraise For Det. Campbell on May 30th

A bake sale and auction has been organized to raise funds for the family Detective Ben Campbell who tragically died in April.

The event will be taking place at Beal College on Thursday, May 30th.  The bake sale will be from 3 PM - 6 PM with a live auction starting at 5 PM.

What can you expect at the live auction?  Lot's of gift cards from local businesses and other items as well.  The auction items include:

• Frank’s Bake Shop $25 gift card
• Sports memorabilia
• A pair of tickets to see the band Alabama
• Helens blueberry pie
• Momo's cheesecake
• Multiple delicious cakes
• Moe's BBQ $25 gift card and $220 value catered picnic for 20 people
• Lougee and Frederick's gift certificate

There will also be a raffle for a quilt included in the event.

Detective Ben Campbell died April 3rd during a bizarre morning accident on Interstate 95 when he stopped to help someone broken down on the side of the road.
