Looks like will need to get the snow shovels out tomorrow!

Our pal Todd Simcox from Channel 5, let us know today, that mid to late morning tomorrow, the white stuff is coming back, and will continue into the evening. We can expect anywhere from 3-6 inches of snow on the ground when it's all said and done.

So far we haven't had it too bad this winter, and sure, the snow looks pretty and all that, but let's face it. shoveling it is not one of lives great pleasures, with that in mind, we found a pretty funny video on TikTok, from a Mainer, named Krystle Bowden, that perfectly sums up why shoveling, for lack of better term, blows.

Seems crazy, but you can really hurt yourself shoveling heavy snow, but let's not forget about what falls on your vehicle, too. Sometimes that is just as big of a problem to remove when it gets really icy and cold. For those of us who work early in the morning, it can be a real pain in the butt, especially when city plows come by in the middle of the night.

The best way to do it, is bend at the knees, not the back when lifting the shovel. Lift with your legs bent, stand with your feet hip-width apart for balance and keep the shovel close to your body. Also, don't pick up too much snow at once. Consider using a smaller shovel or filling a larger shovel no more than halfway.

These simple steps can save you a lot of pain and aggravation, if you happen to throw your back out!
