Summer fun in the sun is just around the corner!

Here we are, Memorial Day is in the rearview mirror, and the the official start of the Summer of 2024, is just weeks away. That means warmer temps are coming, and all that points to getting outdoors and enjoying some killer weather on the water.

It's probably pretty reasonable to expect this to be a very busy summer season. People are ready to get outside and enjoy life, and one of the best ways to do that is to hit the beach, and here in Maine, we have plenty of them.

The opening day for Morgan's Beach will be on Saturday, June 15th!

The staff at Morgan's Beach, want you to know that people are allowed to park above their gates and walk down to use the beach area, before June 15th.

However, no facilities will be available on-site, including rest rooms, and the grounds work for the area is still in progress.

Morgan's Beach is a seasonal public beach on the western shore of Cold Stream Pond, located in the beautiful town of Enfield, located on Route 155, on the Enfield-Lincoln road. The grounds include a sandy beach, picnic area, playground area, changing rooms, bathrooms, and food & refreshments are sold at the Trap Shack.

I have made the 40 minute drive to that area many, many times, and I can tell you that it is a destination that deserves way more love than it gets. It is absoultely gorgeous!

Kick off summer with a day at the beach, at Morgan's Beach in Enfeild, on Saturday, June 15th!
