Food truck season is here!

Hot summer days will bring delicious food to the Bangor Waterfront!

I love food trucks! And when there are multiple trucks in one space at the same time, it really kicks it up a notch. This year, there will be 5 to choose from on Front Street, including one that opens up shop for the season, this weekend.

Food trucks have existed since as early as the 1930s, but they gained their true popularity in more recent decades, after the 2008 recession. At any given time, there are a multitude of trucks out on the streets in the Bangor area, and beyond.

With Spring in full swing, the Dreamer food truck will opemn for the season, this Saturday, May 11th, at 11am.

They will be serving up their famous shawarma bowl, shawarma sandwich, Mediterranean chicken sandwich, shish taouk, and of course our vegan/gluten free/ vegetarian toum and hummus.

Don't forget to try the baklava, cheesecake and tiramisu and middle eastern drinks to get refreshed, when the days get hot.

Here is what you can find on the menu:

  • Toum
  • Hummus
  • Red Pepper Hummus
  • Roasted Veggies
  • Chicken Sandwich
  • Shawarma Sandwich
  • Veggie Sandwich
  • Shawarma Bowl
