Bangor Fall Ritual Market Brings Seasonal Magic to the Waterfront

If wandering around a market filled with cool handmade finds, local makers, vintage treasures and a few things you probably didn't know you needed sounds like a good Sunday Funday, you might want to make you weekend plans..

The Bangor Fall Ritual Market is making its debut in Bangor, bringing a brand-new market experience to the Bangor Waterfront, this Sunday, from 10am to 3pm.

And there’s going to be plenty to check out.

50 vendors are expected to set up at the event, with Ritual Market bringing together independent makers and small businesses for an eclectic mix of creative goods and unique finds.

But guess what? This ain't exactly your typical farmers market. Ritual Market has a maker, artisan and alternative vibe, with past markets featuring everything from crystals and pottery to vintage clothing, candles and other handmade goods. It's the type of event where you can go in just to browse and somehow leave with a bag full of things you absolutely didn'y know you needed.

The purpose of the day is to create a space where people can connect while discovering the work of a variety of creative small businesses and independent makers. And with 50 vendors all in one place, there should be plenty of eye candy to browse.

Of course, shopping works up an appetite, so food trucks will also be at the event.

The event will be held at Waterfront Park at 10 Front St., giving folks a chance to spend part of an early fall Sunday, checking out the market and enjoying the vendors.

While Ritual Market has hosted events around Maine, this will be the first one here in Bangor, making October 4 a fun day to get outside and explore something new.

Just don't blame us if you go home with a candle, a crystal, a vintage find and several things you can't explain to anyone.
