One last hoorah! A final weekend party is happening in Brewer!

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, things sure have changed quite a bit when it comes to nightlife in the Greater Bangor area.

Fewer and fewer people go out, and there aren't many places that stay open till last call, even on the weekends.

Back in April of this year, Mack's Restaurant and Tavern, opened their doors at 391 North Main Street in Brewer, offering up a a full menu, that included brunch, and a weekly Saturday & Sunday breakfast.

After a tough decision, pouring their hearts and creativity into the business, Mack's will close permanently, this Sunday, November 23rd.

To give you a quick history of that particluar spot, Mad Kat and Company, thrived there for over four years, offering up nightly karaoke fun and food, but the owners had to put the business up for sale, in December of 2024.

Before that, you may remember it was known as Jester's, which was a well known fixture in the City of Brewer, but in September of 2020, Kat Markwith and her husband took over, changing the name to Mad Kat & Company.

Be sure to join Mack's for one last bash, this weekend , at 391 North Main Street, in Brewer

Cheers!
