Typical Oktoberfest celebrations occur as a kind of replication of the official Oktoberfest that happen in Munich, Germany, where two weeks in the fall, ending on the first Sunday of October. There are games, music, German food like pretzels, sausage and sauerkraut, and, of course, beer. The celebration is meant to be a coming together of people to just have a good time.
The Club Marina and Bar opened a few months ago and takes the spot of the old Stockton Harbor Yacht Club.
