Snowshoe Event for the Family This Saturday

The Fields Pond Audubon Center in Orrington is hosting a fun family event to get the kids outside and enjoy the Maine outdoors this winter.

They will be hosting a snowshoe tour this Saturday, January 20th from 1 PM - 2:30 PM as part of their Family Discovery Series at Fields Pond.

Take a walk through the meadows and woods of the Center searching for animal tracks and sharing stories.  If you don't have your own snowshoes, they have a few on hand that you can rent.

Members enjoy a discounted rate of $16 per family.  Nonmembers are $20 per family.

Other upcoming events hosted by the Center include a moonlit snowshoe event experiencing January's blue moon,  February Vacation Camp at Fields Pond and Winter Family Day of Play at Fields Pond in February as well.
