‘Slide the City’ Portland Set for August

IT'S HAPPENING!

Slide the City is coming to Portland August 1st. The 1,000 water slide will be set up in the northbound lanes of Franklin Street, from Cumberland Avenue to Fox Street. The Maine Department of Transportation has already approved the closures and subsequent detours.

Tickets range from $15 to $55. A portion of the proceeds will go to a local charity or the city.
