She’s Going To Nationals!

Sometimes is pays to do your thing and be yourself! And in the case of Messalonskee High's Kaitlyn Berthiaume, the school's lone member of the cheering squad, following her heart has literally made one of her dreams come true!  She recently garnered national attention for spreading school spirit, all by herself. When she found out she was the only one to sign up to be a part of this year's squad, she didn't let that stop her. Profiled by several local news organization, and then nationally by Inside Edition, word finally made its way to the ears of the National Cheering Association. They wanted to honor Kaitlyn for embodying what cheering is all about, so they recently told her they were going to send her to the National High School Cheerleading Championship at Disney in Orlando this February! Way to go, Kaitlyn!
