The list of dozens of Bangor area non-profits have been voted on and now the final round of voting is up and running.  Final voting for round one wrapped up on Friday evening and was narrowed down to 20 nonprofits.

The Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual meeting on Thursday, January 28th, where Machias Savings Bank will be investing $5000 to the selected Bangor Area Non-Profit that receives the most votes in this final round of voting.  The non-profit with the most votes will be announced during a live stream of the event at 3 PM.

For four years already, a $5000 donation will be given to one Bangor area non-profit to get their year of fundraising off to a great start.

The event will be streaming on Facebook as well as be available on Zoom.

Right now you can vote in the this second and final round of voting, which goes through until next Tuesday, January 26th at 5 PM.  This time around you get one vote from the full list but, you can still vote once per day.

To vote, submit your first name, your last name, the date and your email.  Then, select from the list of final candidates.

Here are the Bangor area non-profits you can vote for.  Good luck to all of these deserving organizations!
