Orono Brewing Company Debuts ‘Wild Maine Blueberry Seltzer’
It's gonna be a hot, humid weekend, so why not have a cold "Maine" one!
Just in time for a long summer, the gang at Orono Brewing Company is meeting the demand for the fast growing trend of alcohol flavored seltzer beverages, by debuting a new Wild Maine Blueberry Seltzer, this comes just weeks after they launched a mango flavor.
Co-owners Abe Firth, and Asa Marsh Zachs, also put a Maine touch to the cans, by featuring different 207 style types of logos. Naturally, there are lobster, moose and black bear inspired cans.
And since seltzers are all the rage with younger adults, they will soon be unveiling a third flavor, sometime before the end of June.
Orono Brewing Company also recently came up with a way to salute the kids in the University of Maine Class of 2021. The "Congrats Class Of 2021" India Pale Ale is now available at Orono Brewing Company. It features a snazzy can design with UMaine's classic blue colors.
Back in June of 2018, the television program Maine Life Media took an in depth look at Orono Brewing Company, it's origins, and a peek at how they do what they do.
Orono Brewing Company, is located at 61 Margin Street, opened back on New Year's Eve 2014, and they feature a brewery, tasting room, kitchen, and they also have outdoor dining, now that the warmer weather. They also have a Downtown Bangor location that is currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
