New Grocery Store Set to Open On Main Street In Brewer In January

IGA posted on Facebook over the weekend about the latest details for a new grocery store in Brewer.

On Saturday, local grocers IGA posted on Facebook that a new IGA was going to be taking the place of what we know as 'Save-A-Lot' located on 87 South Main Street in Brewer and gave a tentative opening date.

In the post, IGA states that they are reworking the inside to move in in a few weeks.

The post reads:

Exciting things are coming!

We are in the process of cleaning and renovating the former Save-A-Lot store at 87 S Main Street.

We will be rebranding the location as a family-owned and independently operated grocery store.

We are planning to open to the public on January 15th, but we will keep you all updated as things progress!

Sunday, the Brewer IGA shared their progress of their renovation, having taken the outside lettering off the building as well as taking shelving down inside.

The Brewer IGA also has an event up on their Facebook page for a soft opening for January 15th from 8 AM - 8 PM.
