Let's eat!

One of the positives of this entire pandemic nightmare has been all the support folks have shown to local area eating establishments. Not only is it a nice alternative to getting out of the kitchen for a night, you also help our community by keeping these restaurants going through very difficult circumstances.

This week, a few spots are back and offering safe, easy curbside options.

  • High Tide - High Tide returns to serve their new to-go menu daily, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Call 989-3300 to place your order and they will bring it right out to your vehicle. High Tide also has a safe space for outside ordering.
  • Lucerne Inn - Lucerne Inn will open on Monday, May 18 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will continue this schedule seven days per week. Its Sunday brunch is back too, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. They are able to do this since they are located in Hancock County, and they happen to be the closest restaurant to Bangor. They are taking all necessary precautions, getting their staff trained on updated health/safety rules, and creating a comfortable/sanitary environment. Lucerne Inn will be requesting reservations and will be taking guests temperatures in a non-contact manner.
  • Ground Round - You can now get curbside takeout from the Odlin road, Bangor location, from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. daily. Call to order at 942-5621.
  • Brewster's - Brewster's in Brewer has a takeout menu Sunday through Wednesday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., andd Thursday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., And yes, their wings and burgers are back, too. Call 989-0444.
