‘Maine Voices Live’ Interviews Patrick Dempsey [VIDEO]

The Portland Press Herald has a feature called 'Maine Voices Live' that spotlights some well know folks who hail from the state of Maine. The sit down interviews happen in front of a live audience, and in their latest video, one of Maine's most famous residents sat down for a lengthy chat.

Patrick Dempsey was born in Lewiston, and grew up in the nearby towns of Turner and Buckfield. He shot to fame in the 80's in the classic teen comedy "Can't Buy Me Love", but of course he is best known for playing Dr. Derek Shepard for many years on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy"

Dempsey has kept ties to Maine, by starting the Patrick Dempsey Center at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. And of course, The Dempsey Challenge is an annual October event held ine Lewiston–Auburn area.
