In one of the strangest and unnecessary crimes to commit during a pandemic, this might take the top prize. At at least two seperate car dealerships in southern Maine, the same bizarre crime took place earlier this week, someone or multiple people went to extraordinary measures to remove inspection stickers from cars that were on the lot.

Shared by a listener who wanted to stay anonymous, the photo speaks for itself. It's kind of shocking to see a giant hole cut out in the middle of a windshield of a used car just so someone could steal the inspection sticker inside. Especially considering that right now, during these unprecedented times, the State of Maine has extended the expiration dates for all inspection stickers until further notice. So what's the point?

We don't have an answer for that. Maybe the black market for Maine inspection stickers is still so hot that it's worth going to great lengths to get your hands on one. The unfortunate portion of this crime for the car dealerships affected is that these cars will need to have their entire windshield replaced in a time when every dollar counts.

So just when you thought things couldn't get any weirder, someone does this. That's enough, 2020.
