I'm a second-generation DJ as my father spent several years on many radio stations in the late 70s and early 80s, including WBLM. I was born and raised in Lewiston, where I gained little to no street cred. I spent several years as a toddler in radio studios watching hippies press buttons and spin records. It must have really left a mark. That led to a mediocre high school run where my love of alternative grunge and professional wrestling resulted in me rocking a bowl cut for two consecutive years (seriously). I decided to start anew and pursued a higher education at the University of Southern Maine. These college years were marked with being kicked off campus, not making the dean's list and also a professor calling me a tool. But they were formative years, and the results were a promising radio career. From there, I landed the coveted overnight weekend shifts on WCYY, the morning show, and now the afternoons.
