Kid’s Memorial Day Party Playlist

Hey Maine, after 14 long months, it's party time baby!

The timing could not be more perfect, as the mask mandate has been lifted in Maine, people are ready to get together and catch up. In fact, more than 1.3 million vaccine doses have now been administered, and we lead the country with the best percentage of fully vaccinated adults, so it goes without saying that there will be a ton of folks either hitting the road to travel, or going to barbecues, and other events this long holiday weekend.

I have TWO big events coming up this weekend. There are people I have not seen in over a year, and I for one cannot wait. I start it off on Sunday, with a backyard party in Bangor, with pulled pork, bean bags, and of course, adult beverages. On Monday (If I survive Sunday) I am traveling with my family to Lisbon Falls, to catch up with family. I haven't been trapped in a long car ride with my parents and sister for many years, so it should be interesting to say the least. Whatever you may be doing over Memorial Day Weekend, you need some good music, and since this is generally considered the unofficial kick off to summer, ya gotta have tunes.
