I-95 Lane Closures Due to Bangor Bridge Work This Week

The Maine Department of Transportation is working on demolition of the Ohio Street Bridge and has announced that this will include overnight lane closures on I-95 this week.

The schedule of lane closures anticipated this week will start on the northbound side, then move to the southbound side in order to remove bridge beams during the demolition.

Here is the schedule we can anticipate:

For northbound lanes, expect lane closures for the following days and times:

• Sunday, March 22nd starting at 11 PM to Monday, March 23rd at 5 AM
• Monday, March 23rd starting at 11 PM to Tuesday, March 24th at 5 AM

For southbound lanes, expect lane closure for the following days and times:

• Tuesday, March 24th starting at 11 PM to Wednesday, March 25th at 5 AM
• Wednesday, March 25th starting at 11 PM to Thursday, March 26th at 5 AM

The MaineDOT does state that weather may change this schedule.
