There are so many great things right in our own backyard.

It doesn’t take more than a couple of minutes in the outdoors to forget about your troubles and concerns and just live.

And another great example of one of those places is The Hirundo Wildlife Refuge in Old Town, and they held their grand opening of the new kids trail over the weekend

The new trail , The Kids Trail, is located at Gate 2, across the road from the main gate. Open every day from dawn to dusk and yes there is parking available.

Perfect to help kids find the love of the outdoors. Leave the video games at home. And the pets and bikes too. Let’s go for a walk kids, and see what animals we can see.
