🚚 Big trucks, cool machines, and a whole lot of fun are coming to Bangor!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13th, and head over to the Cole Land Transportation Museum at 405 Perry Road in Bangor for the Transportation Festival, Bangor’s Largest Touch-A-Truck!

From 11 AM to 3 PM, you can get up close and personal with dozens of trucks and vehicles, meet the people who drive and operate them, check out some awesome equipment, and learn about the many careers that keep Maine, and the rest of the country moving.

There’ll be hands-on exhibits, demonstrations, transportation history, an indoor raffle with some great prizes, and plenty to see and do for the whole family. And yes…you’ll actually get to touch the trucks!

The festival is part of "Heroes & Heritage Week", a weeklong fundraiser supporting veteran programs through the Galen Cole Family Foundation. It’s a great chance to have some fun while also supporting programs that make a difference for veterans and their families.

So, if you’ve got a little one who thinks every truck is the coolest thing ever, you’re a lifelong fan of big machines, or you’re just looking for something fun to do with the family, there’s something here for everyone. Come explore the museum, learn a little Maine transportation history, meet some of the people behind the wheel, and maybe even discover a career you never knew existed!

The best part? It’s FREE!
