Here’s When ‘Ghoulsport’ Is Coming to Bucksport This Fall

We may have just witnessed the final banks of snow finally dissolve into the ground and may be reveling in 50-degree days for the first time this year, but that doesn't mean we can't look forward to our favorite time of year- Halloween!

We here in Maine certainly love our falls, especially when Halloween comes around. In fact, it almost seems like the whole month of October is dedicated to Halloween here in the state. And, not only do we like celebrating it all month long but, when the days get closer, we like to go all out, as is the case with Ghoulsport!

One of Maine's greatest spook-tacular days has been scheduled for 2023! Be sure to mark your calendar for Bucksport's Ghoulsport, a day all about spooky and scary things that celebrate Maine's favorite time of year. The big day for 2022 will be Saturday, October 29th. And, we CAN... NOT..... WAIT.

Ghoulsport festivities

This all-day event is a full day of fun activities for kids and adults who love the festivities of Halloween.

The Facebook Event page 'Goulsport' describes some of the events we can look forward to for this year's festival: "There will be food and craft vendors, paranormal parade, various activities and maybe some witch’s brew!"

Last year, Ghoulsport took place on Saturday, October 23rd from 10 AM to 10 PM.

A typical Ghoulsport takes place in Downtown Bucksport and includes a Paranormal Parade, Trunk-Or-Treat, food & craft vendors, a Halloween dance, ghost stories, and a ton of games and activities for kids of all ages.
