It's been a minute since the Bad Boys from Boston traveled to their northern neighbors. But that's about to be rectified.

Coming to the Maine Savings Amphitheater on Sunday, September 4, Steve, Joe, Tom, Jerry, and Brad -- better known to the masses as Aerosmith -- will take the stage in Bangor, Maine, according to Waterfront Concerts.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 29 at 10 AM.

According to setlist.fm, the last time Aerosmith came to Bangor was August 14, 1984 when they played at the Bangor Auditorium as part of their "Back In The Saddle" tour.

They've come back to Maine in the years that followed, but never really any farther north than the Portland area, and even then, they haven't toured the state since their 2003 Rocksimus Maximus tour at the Cumberland County Civic Center.

Whether with the glitz and glam and pyrotechnics or stripped down, as they were during their "Honkin' On Bobo" tour the following year, when they went on tour with KISS (I saw that one personally and it was amazing!) these boys know how to put on a show, so do your best to get to see them while they're here. You will not be disappointed!

Most recently, just before Covid hit, Aerosmith had been performing as part of their "Deuces are Wild " Las Vegas residency.

According to their website, when the band hits the road this summer, they'll bounce between dates in Great Britain and Las Vegas with a handful of stops in New England, Bangor being one of them.

And make sure to listen for details.

In the meantime, take a trip down memory lane, when the band played Maine on September 30, 1973.

Aerosmith Albums Ranked

Any worst-to-best ranking of Aerosmith must deal with two distinct eras: their sleazy '70s work and the slicker, more successful '80s comeback. But which one was better?
