The 4th of July is back, and everyone in Maine is ready to enjoy the celebration!

With a decent forecast across the state and a day off from work, we are all ready to go out and be with friends and family, have a day of sun, BBQ, and games, then head out and enjoy a beautiful evening of fun & fireworks

With the holiday landing on a Thursday this year, many people will not have the option of a day of recovery, so party responsibly.

If you are staying at home, or hitting the open road, we have the days and start times for fireworks all across Maine, and keep in mind, that some of these events take place on July 3rd, or July 5th.

Here in Bangor, there will be a parade starting at 10 am in Brewer and ending in Bangor. Then, there's the big fireworks finale at 9:30 p.m., overlooking the Penobscot River.

Check out more information on the Bangor/Brewer festivities here.
