Another round of soaking rain is forecast for much of Maine mid-week. The wind not be as strong as last week's storm, but is expected to be gusty along the coast.

The National Weather Service is calling for another round of rain for Maine mid-week. Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, much of Maine is expected to see over an inch of rainfall. Rain will be heavy at times overnight into Wednesday morning.

In addition, gusty winds are forecast along the coast. A Wind Advisory has been issued for coastal Maine, as winds will increase to 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 45 mph, late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. The wind is not expected to be nearly as strong inland.

Sunny and drier weather is expected for the remainder of the week.
