Wednesday could get a little messy around here!

You've heard Frankie featured regularly on the Z Morning Show with the storm updates he publishes on his YouTube channel. We like to follow him and let people in on his forecasts whenever Maine has any kind of storm on the way.

We checked in with our pal Todd Simcox, and it is legit

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Snow developing during the morning over inland and northern areas, rain/snow mix closer to the coast. Highs in the 30s to near 40°.

This should be especially fun, since we will be in the Brewer Hannaford parking lot, for our annual "Free The Z" turkey drive. Could be wet & wild out there!

As for Frankie, he always gives us a detailed report of what's to come and a list of items needed to get through the storm. It's pretty lengthy and includes winter boots, jackets, hats, gloves, scarfs, and ski pants ready. He also reminds us all to order your pizzas and Chinese food and to buy cases of Pepsi and Coke.

He is adamant about having your Samsung Galaxy Smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Tablets, smartphones, cell phones, laptops and tablets charged and having your 3G, 4G, 5G and LTE Internet ready. When you are driving your car, take your time, and slow down. When you are walking be careful, so you don't slip and fall. Have your furnaces ready to keep the house warm. Drink lots of green tea, white tea, red tea to stay warm. Have extra blankets ready to Keep warm. And of course, have your shovels, snow scoops, snowblowers, snowplows and salt trucks ready.

Got all that?

The Z Morning Show got to talk with YouTube star Frankie MacDonald to let him know we follow him and to ask him what's on the horizon for him, how he started doing videos and about the book he wrote.

We also got to know what his favorite song is:

Frankie is based out of Sydney, Nova Scotia where he follows the weather worldwide and records videos to warn citizens of the forewarned areas of what's forecasted and what to do to prepare. He's been creating videos since 2007.
