This Saturday, get your ride clean for FREE, and support Project Graduation at the same time!

We are smack dab in the middle of a great stretch of weather, and with a whole week of sunshine, and temps possibly reaching the mid-80’s coming up this weekend, there couldn’t be a better time to get your car washed.

What if you could get a car wash for free, and make sure that local students have a great graduation at the same time?

Join the folks at Darlings Auto Group, located at 114 Sylvan Road in Bangor, along with students from Hampden Academy, Bangor High School and John Bapst Memorial High school, for a squeaky-clean fundraiser.

All three of these schools will be competing in "The Great Car Wash Challenge” coming up this Saturday, May 14th, from 10 am to 12 pm, the goal is to see who can clean the most cars and raise money for their Project Graduation event.

Darling’s has over $6,000 in prize money on the line for one of these schools, and the car washes are free, but you are welcome to donate to the team of your choice. And since it will more than likely be an 80 degree day, kicking in a few extra bucks should be a given, right?

Each team will receive $10 per car, here is how the rest of the money will be distributed:

1st Place-$3,000
2nd Place-$2,000
3rd Place-$1,000

If you are a Hampden Bronco, John Bapst Crusader, or Bangor Ram supporter, jump in your vehicle, and head on over this Saturday, May 14th, from 10am-12pm, and help make sure the Class of 2022, get a great send off.
