This is no April Fools Day joke! Downtown Bangor is the place to be on Friday.

Downtown Bangor will be hosting a First Friday celebration, this Friday at 4pm. First Fridays in Downtown Bangor is a must attend event. This celebration gives you aa chance to shop, drink, participate in activities, see art, listen to music and eat late into the evening.

Here is what’s happening!

Galleries and Studios

Sohns Gallery At the Rock and Art Shop will feature painting by Gintare, at 36 Central Street, from 4pm-6pm

Entertainment

Penobscot Theatre Company will premiere a play set in fictional Clara, Maine, called “Hockey Mom, at 131 Main Street, starting at 7pm.

Food & Drink

2 Feet Brewing, at 80 Columbia Street, will host a Friday night dinner special, from 4pm-9pm.

Benjamin's Pub 2019, at 123 Franklin Street, will have $6 margaritas and $4 tall PBR’s all night long

Utopia Bangor, Downtown's own Mediterranean restaurant. At 96 Hammond Street, will be serving up delicious food and drinks from 5pm-11:00pm

The Tarratine, at 81 Park Street, will be launching their Spring cocktail menu, from 5 pm-9pm

Shopping
City Drawers, at 213 Exchange Street, will host a swimsuit trunk show featuring Panache swimwear, from 10am-7pm

Valentine Footwear, at 115 Main Street, will host a First Friday Sip & Shop. Stop in to browse new spring styles, with light refreshments provided, from 4pm-6pm
