Dedham Man Accused of Seriously Injuring 2-Year-Old

A Dedham man is facing charges after allegedly causing serious injuries to a 2-year-old girl.

Jason Brown, 22, was arrested earlier this week and charged with two counts of domestic violence aggravated assault. The girl's family has started a Facebook page, #abbiestrong, to give updates on the girl's condition. Abbie's grandparents told WABI-TV that the 2 1/2-year-old suffered a head injury and a fractured arm.

The child spent several weeks in intensive care, but her family says she's making her way back. It's a slow and expensive process, so a GoFundMe page was set up, to help her family cover the costs of her care.
