Back In The Day Café fans! A night of rock & roll will cure what ails ya.

It has been so great to see venues in the state of Maine booking live music events once again. I personally go to at least a couple every year, and I always go out to local watering holes to support local musicians on a regular basis. But the point is, for a very long time, we did not have that option, and to see it come back stronger than ever is something that we shouldn’t take for granted.

Daughtry will bring his “The Dearly Beloved” tour with special guests, Sevendust, Tremonti, Travis Bracht, to the fabulous State Theater in Portland, on Sunday, November 7, at 7 PM.

You may remember that Daughtry was the opening act for 3 Doors Down, at the Bangor Waterfront Pavilion, on July 10, 2013. He also opened for Nickelback in Bangor, in 2017.

Back at its peak, American Idol was cranking out big stars, like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Chris Daughtry, who in 2006, was the in the Top 4 finalists with Katharine McPhee, Elliott Yamin, and the eventual winner, Mr. Soul Patrol himself, Taylor Hicks.

Not winning the competition did not slow down Daughtry at all. His debut album sold over one million copies within five weeks of release and quickly racked up several Top 40 hits, and he has been a fixture out on the concert circuit ever since.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 23 at 10 AM, via Ticketmaster
