Great live music, for an important cause!

We are truly blessed to have a very impressive live and local music scene here in the Bangor area, and the folks at the Penobscot Pour House want to celebrate all the talented musicians around town with a fun weekend of jamming.

Friday, January 28, and Saturday, January 29, starting at 9 pm, the awesome Bangor band, Dakota are your hosts for the Cabin Fever Showcase & Jam.

Winters are long here, and nothing is worse than cabin fever in Maine, so forget the long cold days, and nights and get out of the house to dance and enjoy incredible live music.

The Cabin Fever Showcase & Jam will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Maine, with all the proceeds from these two evenings going directly to this important cause that makes dreams come true for local Maine children who are suffering from a life-threatening disease.

Enjoy two nights of amazing live entertainment. They are inviting all musicians out there to grab their guitars, plug in, and play! Bring the whole band and get your chance on the PPH stage! Also, enjoy live performances by River Bottom Funk, and the legendary, Dakota. Bring your band and show Bangor what you’ve got. All you need is your guitar.

Each night the cover is just $5, But, you must be 21+ to enter, with a valid ID required. The Penobscot Pour House is located at 14 Larkin Street in Bangor.

Check out their website for info on this and other live music events.
