On Sunday, combine your love for cars with your love with pets for this unique fundraiser. Mainly Money Pits has put together a free event for all to come by and show off their vehicles or to gawk on the ones that show up to fundraise money for the Bangor Humane Society.

Mainely Money Pits is a group based out of Brewer that's all about the engines that have cost you a pretty penny and that you'd like to show off. And the group is doing just that and for a great cause.

The event will be held Sunday, June 20th from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Leadbetter's Super Stop on Hammond Street in Bangor. The Mainely Money Pits group is looking to fundraise for the animal shelter and asks that those visiting to bring the following items for donations:

  • Blankets
  • Food and treats
  • Toys
  • Sheets
  • Paper Towels
  • Whatever you think the shelter needs to care for animals at the shelter

Cash will be accepted as well at the event. Visitors could also see some of the pets up for adoption as the Bangor Humane Society will be there to collect items and show off some of those cute mugs that need our help.

And, as a heads up, no burnouts, revving or horseplay with your motorized toys- gotta keep it cool for the dogs and cats that might be coming by.
