ROAD TRIP WORTHY: Some very cool 90’s music is coming to Maine this spring!

Every weekday at noon, we bust out the retro jams on the Back In The Day Café, and when some of these artists go out and hit the road to perform in the state of Maine, it’s pretty exciting.

Tesla had some pretty huge hits with “Signs”, and Love Song” in the early 90’s. I recall being a teenager and seeing them open up for David Lee Roth, at the Augusta Civic Center, many moons ago.

They are coming to Aura in Portland, on Tuesday, May 10th at 8pm. If you have never seen at show at this venue, I can tell you first hand, that is one of the best in the state.

Ticketmaster has the hookup for tix. Keep in mind that proof of a negative test or COVID-19 vaccination is needed to attend this event.

The fun doesn’t stop there, because Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers are heading to the iconic State Theatre
in Portland, on Saturday, May 28th at 8pm.

Bob Dylan’s son, was the front man for one of the hottest bands of the mid 90’s. “One Headlight” was a giant song in 1997, a winner of two Grammy Awards, and a tune that we still play on the Back In The Day Café, all the time.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 18th, and you can get them through Ticketmaster

Proof of a negative test or COVID-19 vaccination is needed to attend this event as well.
